HUB was founded in 2004 by former tennis pro Huub van Boeckel and was born from the mindset of the tennis court. It started with one simple idea: to bring the comfort of a tennis outsole from the court to the street and design contemporary uppers for it. The result was a completely new look on the street: thin white tennis outsoles with high-quality leather uppers, mainly in brown tones, with a small orange Z-stitch and with a strong emphasis on comfort thanks to features such as the removable ‘air flow comfort ventilation system’ HUB insole.
