Shoes.be is an online directory listing shoe shops and shoe repair shops in Belgium. The platform allows verified shop owners to create, manage, and update their own business listings. Shoes.be is operated by Bert Eelen, registered in Belgium. VAT BE0639675408
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Shoes.be, whether as a visitor or as a registered shop owner, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
3. User-Generated Content & Data Accuracy
Shop owners are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information they publish on their listings, including but not limited to: business name, address, phone number, opening hours, services, brands, images, and pricing. Shoes.be does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any information submitted by shop owners. We disclaim all liability for incorrect, outdated, or misleading data published by users.
4. Shop Owner Responsibilities
As a registered shop owner, you agree to: (a) provide accurate and truthful information about your business; (b) keep your listing up to date; (c) not publish false, misleading, defamatory, or illegal content; (d) not misuse the platform to advertise products or services unrelated to footwear; (e) not engage in spam, mass review manipulation, or any fraudulent activity.
5. Prohibited Use of Data Control
Shop owners are granted control over their own listings for legitimate business management purposes only. Abuse of this privilege — including but not limited to: publishing false reviews, falsifying business information, or using the listing to harm competitors — will result in immediate suspension of access and potential legal action.
6. Reviews & Ratings
Reviews and ratings submitted by users are subject to moderation by Shoes.be before publication. Shoes.be reserves the right to refuse, remove, or edit reviews that are deemed abusive, defamatory, spam, or otherwise in violation of these Terms. Attempting to manipulate review scores through fake submissions is strictly prohibited.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and trademarks of Shoes.be are the property of their respective owners. Shop owners grant Shoes.be a non-exclusive license to display their submitted content (logos, images, descriptions) for the purpose of operating the directory.
8. Limitation of Liability
Shoes.be is provided "as is". We do not accept liability for: (a) errors or omissions in shop listing data; (b) loss or damage arising from reliance on information on this site; (c) technical interruptions, data loss, or security breaches outside our reasonable control.
9. Termination
Shoes.be reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any listing or user account that violates these Terms, without prior notice or refund of any fees paid.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Shoes.be after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
